DWDI #AccessInNursing research group launches first study. Seeking partner schools.




๐ŸŒŸ Exciting Opportunity: Participate in Benchmark Nursing Education Study! ๐ŸŒŸ



We invite accredited nursing schools to join our multi-site study, "Prevalence of Disability and Accommodation Use in Traditional Bachelorโ€™s Degree Nursing Programs in the US." ๐Ÿฅ



๐Ÿ” Background: There exists a lack of comprehensive data on students with disabilities in nursing programs. Our study aims to benchmark and measure growth, tailoring interventions, and enhancing support structures.



๐Ÿ“Š Data Collection: De-identified aggregate data on registered students with disabilities, accommodation types, and institutional demographics. Survey takes 15-45 mins based on the number of registered students.



๐Ÿค Confidentiality: Participation is confidential, and only de-identified data will be published.



๐ŸŒŸ Benefits: Contribute to understanding this critical population and advancing Nursing Education.



โฐ Timeline: Data collection March 2024. Express interest promptly. Eligible schools must submit data by April/May 2024.



๐ŸŽ“ Eligibility Criteria: CCNE-accredited schools with capacity to partner with disability resources office. Provide institutional-level data.
